Kevin Bourland was a stranger to us.
Our family lived in Venice Beach and one night decided it was time to move away from the all the stress of the west side. We had visited friends who live in South Pasadena, and have always loved the little town.
We woke up on a Sunday morning, called our friends and headed east to drive around the town. They recommended that we speak with Kevin.
Here is where it gets interesting-
We listed and sold our house in 30 days. We needed to find that perfect house and we needed to find it fast. Kevin, whom we had just met, started working for us immediately. Even though we hardly knew us, he did know exactly what we needed in a house. He showed us a house that we fell in love with. It wasn't even on the market currently, but he pulled a few strings to get us inside. South Pasadena is a small town with high demand on the houses.
As it turns out, there was another accepted offer before us. We were crushed.
But that didn't stop Kevin from working for us. It didn't even slow him down in fact. He kept working with the listing agent, putting pressure on the sellers to move away from the first offer and accept our offer. The clock was ticking down, moving trucks were booked and we didn't have a place to live.
Because of Kevin's consistent actions, and because he knows every agent in town, he won us the house. We were able to have the sellers move out quickly and moved directly into our dream home.
Our house is a place we will be calling home for a very long time. We have all our holiday parties here, neighbors come and go. In fact, our boy's kindergarten teacher's daughter is going to be married in our back yard next summer. It's that type of home. We could not be happier.

It sounds a bit corny, but without Kevin Bourland, it would never have happened. I really do believe that another agent would not have worked his type of magic.
He is anything but a stranger to us now!
